Academic Half-Day
The academic “half-day,” held on Friday mornings, begins at 0700 hours with a one-hour spine seminar, followed by one hour of neuroradiology case presentations, and one hour of neurology, neurosurgery, neuropathology and basic science (alternating). Weekly seminars are also conducted to enhance the knowledge base in basic neurosciences and clinical skills. The seminars are a combination of presentations by resident staff, supervised by academic faculty and invited speakers from various related disciplines.
Rounds
Neuroradiology rounds are held on Wednesday mornings.
Residents are also encouraged to attend monthly cerebrovascular, neuro-oncology and skull-base rounds.
