Appointment of Regular Members of Faculty
Faculty appointments in the Department of Epidemiology and Community Medicine are governed by the Collective agreement between the University of Ottawa and the Association of Professors of the University of Ottawa (APUO). Details of the appointments can be found on the following link.

Prospective candidates for a position as regular professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Community Medicine should forward a copy of their CV along with a letter indicating their expectations to the Chair of the Department. If there are any current vacancies, the Chair will then bring this to the attention of the appropriate selection committees for consideration. The chair may request additional documents or more detailed information as appropriate, before submitting the application to the selection committee.
