Clinical Placement site

You are required to register all of the Extracurricular Activities that you will attend in your Clinical Placement file. Please follow these steps:

  1. Link to the entry page:  CLICK HERE
  2. Username and password are same as the one you use to access your ONE45 account
  3. Open your file by choosing Clinical Placement
  4. Choose: «Register a new activity»
  5. Make sure to complete all sections of the form and Save

  • These activities will be included in your Medical Student Performance Record (MSPR).
  • For the Community Health/Advocacy and Special Interest Group activities, the leaders of these groups will provide a list of attendance of all students who attended at least 10 hours per activity during your medical studies.  The Medical Education office will then be able to change the status of your entry to «Confirmed by leader».
  • Professional Development: You can enter any workshop participations done at a conference. But if you are only attending a conference it cannot be mentioned in your letter.  These activities are all extra training/courses that you take during your medical studies.
  • Contribution to the Faculty of Medicine: You can enter all the activities directly related with the Faculty of Medicine of U of Ottawa, i.e. being a student representative for any committees, retreats or others.  You can also add presentations done at a conference, i.e. workshops or posters.
  • Other Community/University Activities: You can enter the various activities and volunteer work done. Please look at the drop down list for examples of activities.

IMPORTANT: If you cannot find the activities in the drop-down list, please send an email to mededop2@uottawa.ca.  If the activity is approved, it will be added on the drop down list.
