Dissection Electives in Human Anatomy
- For 1st year students:
- Dissection of thorax in 6 sessions.
- Dissection of thorax in 6 sessions.
NB: Priority will be given to students who have not previously taken any dissection elective. If the # of students who sign up exceeds capacity, a selection will be done randomly by computer.
- For 2nd year students:
- Dissection of the abdomen in 4 sessions.
Students will be divided into groups. Students will dissect the abdomen and observe the structures and organs within the abdominal cavity. Students will be required to complete the Elective Learning Contract and are to be evaluated at the end of the elective experience.
If the # of students who sign up exceeds capacity, a selection will be done randomly by computer.
