MARTIN HAMILTON, PhD

CREM ASSOCIATE (RESEARCH)

Professor Emeritus of Statistics
Department of Mathematical Sciences
Montana State University-Bozeman
Bozeman, MT 59717 U.S.A.

"I discovered biostatistics while a Fulbright Scholar at the Aberdeen University, Scotland. Many of the faculty in Aberdeen were associated with medical research or agriculture research or fisheries research. Their seminar talks and classroom lectures illustrated how statisticians could contribute significantly to the solution of medical and environmental problems. I decided to seek the training and experience that would allow me to work as a biostatistician. "
