Research Interests:
My research interests lie in the understanding virus/host cell interactions that result in either resistance or susceptibility of individuals cells to virus infection, and in identifying the genetic basis of viral attenuation. Both of these areas have significance in the design and evaluation of vaccines and therapeutics for virus infections. Current work is attempting to identify cellular factors required for replication of the paramyxoviruses, Mumps and Respiratory Syncytial Virus.
