Police Record Check
All candidates given an offer of admission into the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program are required to obtain, at their expense a police record check, vulnerable sector. At the beginning of each subsequent academic year of the M.D., program students must resubmit a Police record check. The student may be asked to provide a copy of the Police Records Check to the clinical facility prior to the commencement of their clinical activities.
False or misleading information:
If a candidate or student provides false or misleading information or withholds information, this may result in: 1) the revocation of an offer of admission; 2) the revocation of a candidate already accepted; or 3) the cancellation of registration in the M.D., program. Medical school graduates with a criminal record may not be eligible to obtain their license to practice medicine.
